Refund Policy
DRAFT — not legal advice. The refund window, duplicate-charge and failure handling below are confirmed by the owner. Items marked [OWNER: …] are still undecided, and the whole policy needs legal review before publication.
Last updated: [OWNER: date]
Summary
- 14 days: you may ask for a refund within 14 calendar days of purchase.
- Duplicate charges: we investigate, and refund charges we verify were unintended duplicates.
- Failures: a failed generation does not use a credit, and a credit wrongly deducted is restored. If an HD download fails, we restore your access or credit, or offer an appropriate remedy.
- Used or partly used packages: reviewed case by case.
- Your legal rights are not affected by anything on this page.
What you bought
One package costs 6 USD and includes 20 successful generations and 3 HD downloads. A generation credit is used only when a preview is successfully created. An HD credit is used the first time you unlock a design for HD. Downloading that same design again does not use another credit.
Requesting a refund within 14 days
Email support@namemorph.art within 14 calendar days of the purchase date with your order reference (shown under purchases in My Gallery) and the reason. We review each request. How much is refunded can depend on how much of the package has been used, and we decide this case by case. [OWNER: define how partly used packages are valued, for example full, pro-rata or discretionary, if you want to publish a rule]
Duplicate charges
If you think you were charged twice for the same purchase, email us with your order reference and the payment details you have. We check our order records and Safepay's, and we refund any charge we verify was an unintended duplicate. Your bank or card statement may show a hold or a converted amount that differs from 6 USD, because Safepay can charge in your local currency at its own exchange rate. That alone is not a duplicate.
Failed generations and failed HD downloads
- If a generation fails, no credit is used. If you believe a credit was deducted for a design you did not receive, tell us and we will restore it.
- If an HD unlock or download fails, the system does not use another credit when you retry. If you still cannot get your HD file, we restore access or the credit, or provide another appropriate remedy.
- Previews and HD files are AI-generated, so results vary. That variation on its own is not a service failure. See the AI disclosure.
What happens to your credits when a refund is approved
A package is treated as one unit. When a refund or chargeback is applied to an order, the remaining generation and HD credits of that package are removed. Artwork already saved or unlocked stays in your Gallery unless we tell you otherwise. The system does not pro-rate partial refunds.
Your statutory rights
This policy adds to, and does not reduce, the rights you have under the law where you live. In some places, including the EU and the UK, consumers may have a right to cancel a digital purchase, and special rules apply to digital content that is supplied straight away. NameMorph's checkout does not ask you to give up any statutory right. [BLOCKED: legal review needed for EU/UK withdrawal rules, including whether any express-consent step and a durable purchase confirmation will be added]
How and when refunds are paid
Approved refunds are paid through Safepay. [OWNER: confirm the refund method, who issues it, the response time, and how long the money takes to appear]
